Three of us spent a few days in Tutukaka and ate here very happily every day. They cater well for allergens (one of us is both gluten and dairy intolerant and another of us is vegetarian). The tofu breakfast burrito was incredibly tasty and we tried each of the toasties which were yummy! Really appreciated the extra ingredients like caramalised onion in them and the sourdough bread was great. And most importantly of all for Wellingtonians, the coffee is excellent.

Really enjoyed our stop at Village Eats. My girlfriend had the granola and I went for the bacon and egg breakfast burrito—both were tasty and just the right size. We each had iced lattes too, which were excellent. The place has a really relaxed vibe. We ended up flipping through some books on native birds and Māori culture while we ate, and even got to play with their dog, which was a nice surprise. Good food, great coffee, and a warm atmosphere—would definitely go back.

I did my coffeebreak two times here. The homemade granola and the coffee was awesome, nice staff, nice place. Locals, other shopowners, kids & a cute dog are around. Good vibes! I will come again and try more of the menu. The only confusing thing is, that you never really know, if it is open or not. There are no opening hours in google or at the shopwindow, no website and it happend two times now, that I parked in front of a closed shop (today again). :)

My partner and I we spent 2 mornings having breakfast, and it was AMAZING. Not only was the food of outstanding quality, but it was the price and, most importantly, the service. The lady who helped us really went above and beyond. Making my partner feel special on her birthday with adding a candle. From the food to the coffee, I would recommend everything or even just to say hello. We will definitely come back.
